Terms of Service

Levitutor is operated by Levitutor Sdn. Bhd., a company incorporated in Malaysia. We provide a white-label AI-powered tutoring platform that enables educational institutes (“Institutes”) to deliver personalised, AI-assisted learning experiences to their students.

Our platform is accessible at levitutor.top and via tenant-specific subdomains (e.g. yourschool.levitutor.top).

By accessing or using Levitutor as a Student, Teacher, or Owner, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 13.
• You have the authority to enter into a legally binding agreement.
• You will comply with all applicable Malaysian and international laws.

If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an Institute, you represent that you have the authority to bind that Institute to these Terms.

Levitutor operates a four-tier user model:

• Super Administrator: Levitutor staff only. Manages platform-wide configuration. Not accessible to customers.
• Owner: Represents an educational institute. Manages branding, teachers, and classes. May access anonymised student analytics but never individual message content.
• Teacher: Creates classes, uploads curriculum materials, monitors anonymised student activity.
• Student: Accesses AI tutoring through a class code provided by their teacher.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials used to access Levitutor. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@levitutor.top if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use Levitutor for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features.
• Upload, transmit, or share any content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or account without authorisation.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the platform’s source code.
• Share class codes publicly in a way that enables mass unauthorised access.

Owners are responsible for ensuring that users they invite (teachers) and students who join their classes comply with these Terms.

Levitutor uses Google Gemini AI to generate tutoring responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. They do not constitute professional educational, legal, medical, or financial advice.
• You should always verify important factual information from authoritative sources.
• We do not guarantee that AI responses will be error-free or continuously available.
• The AI tutor is constrained to the subject matter of the enrolled class and will decline to discuss unrelated topics.

Teacher-uploaded materials: Teachers who upload curriculum resources (PDFs, documents, text) to Levitutor retain ownership of those materials. By uploading, you grant Levitutor Sdn. Bhd.a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, embed, and use that content solely to provide the AI tutoring service within your institute’s classes.

Platform intellectual property: The Levitutor platform, including its design, code, branding, and system prompts, is the intellectual property of Levitutor Sdn. Bhd.. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Student messages: Content submitted by students in chat sessions belongs to the student. However, anonymised and aggregated usage data (not individual message content) may be used to improve platform performance.

Institutes may be offered a free trial period as specified in their onboarding agreement. After the trial:

• Platform access may be suspended if a paid subscription is not activated.
• Data retention during suspension periods is subject to our data retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
• Subscription pricing, billing cycles, and refund policies are governed by the separate commercial agreement between Levitutor Sdn. Bhd. and the Institute.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Levitutor Sdn. Bhd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the platform.
• Any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data (beyond what is reasonably within our control).
• Downtime, service interruptions, or technical failures.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Levitutor at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably consider harmful to the platform or other users.

Owners may request closure of their account by contacting hello@levitutor.top. Upon account closure, data retention and deletion will follow the procedures described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

We encourage resolution of disputes through good-faith negotiation. Please contact us at hello@levitutor.top before initiating formal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify Owners via the email address associated with their account.

Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
